Woolstok Worsted 150g
Wool that’s proud to be wool.
Woolstok is a two-ply worsted spun from fine Peruvian Highland wool. It’s sturdy, bouncy, and a little toothy, the way classic Highland wool should be. It has rich character, holds its shape, and keeps you warm. This 150g skein is the big one, with 370 yards in a single skein, so you spend less time joining new skeins and more time knitting.
Stitches that show off. The two-ply construction gives you excellent stitch definition, whether you knit or crochet. Cables pop, textures read clearly, and colorwork looks intentional (even if you chose the colors at 11pm on a whim). It’s great for sweaters, blankets, hats, cowls, and anything that needs to survive a Minnesota winter.
Flexible gauge. The suggested gauge is 5 to 6 stitches per inch on US 6 to 11 (4 to 8mm) needles, but it works beautifully on large or small needles. Go dense for cozy, or open for drapey. Swatch and see what you like.
11 colors. Want more to choose from? The 50g skeins of Woolstok Worsted come in 27 colors.
How much do I need? One skein makes a hat, with yardage to spare. [Add sweater guidance here.] Not sure about your project? Ask us and we’ll do the math with you.
